Welcome to Discover CIAM!

CIAM — Customer Identity and Access Management — refers to the technologies, processes and best practices used to manage and secure customer identities and their access to digital services. CIAM integrations ensure seamless customer experiences while protecting sensitive data, and typically handle the various aspects of user Authentication, Authorization, Protection and (lifecycle) Management.

My site, Discover CIAM, is part of an initiative I’m building to help you, the developer, discover more about CIAM and the benefits integrating it can bring to the B2C and B2B SaaS solution you’re developing. This site is designed to help you navigate easily through the many topics associated with CIAM and provides access to a number of blog post articles, hints, tips, code samples, and experiences that help you navigate and discover more about customer identity. My name’s Peter Fernandez, and I’m a veteran of the identity and access management space, having worked for many years with companies like the now Quest One Identity, and Auth0 by Okta — helping developers integrate and navigate the intricacies of identity and access management in many forms.
